Proposed Wind Projects In Pottawattamie County

Two companies, MidAmerican Energy and Invenergy, LLC., are both working to secure leases for two separate wind energy generation centers (aka wind farms). 

Invenergy has not set a boundary or released a public statement at this time. This company is known to work quietly, calling absentee landowners first, then reaching out to locals. Their project does not seem to have much of a boundary at this time an is not currently named. We have dubbed it the "East Pott" project, as it is separate from the Silver Creek Wind project by MidAmerican.

Sign our petition (link is on the front page of this website), then stop by and talk to your neighbors, call your friends and family (never assume you know where someone stands), visit with the isolated or elderly (they are the most vulnerable), post on your social media, and get signage out on your land so people know this project is not wanted in the area. Write letters to the editor, and most importantly call your County Supervisors.
